The meeting was attended on behalf of the principal museums: for the National Gallery of Iceland: Ingibjörg Jóhannsdóttir; for the National Museum of Natural History of Iceland: Ragnhildur Guðmundsdóttir; for the National Museum of Iceland: Harpa Þórsdóttir.
Staff of the Board of Trustees: Þóra Björk Ólafsdóttir, Executive Director, who writes the minutes, and Klara Þórhallsdóttir.
1. Matter for presentation
- Overview of the council's activities since the last meeting.
- Thóra Björk Ólafsdóttir and Klara Þórhallsdóttir reported on a conference they attended on June 11-12 in Stockholm, which was titled Cultural Heritage and Cultural Resilience – Nordic-Baltic Conference on Civil Preparednesswhich could be translated as ”Cultural Heritage and Cultural Resilience – A Nordic-Baltic Conference on Prevention.“ Meetings were also held with various museums and colleagues from the Nordic countries regarding work on response plans for accredited museums.
- Klara Thorhallsdottir withdrew an article she had written for the next issue of the museum journal Kvist on behalf of the museum board, regarding the status of a project on museum response plans.
