1. Presentation case
- An overview of the council's activities since the last meeting. Discussions included the museum council's trip around the Southern Region, which will take place in early November.
- The application deadline for the 2023 main distribution of the collections fund was Thursday, October 20, at 4:00 PM. The number and total amount of applications were presented to the council. A total of 155 applications were received from 50 applicants, 46 of which were from accredited museums. The total amount requested for 2023 is 302,321,662 kr. The evaluation committee is the same as in previous years, assuming no one needs to recuse themselves due to conflicts of interest.
- The Museums of Impact project was presented to the council, and now the MOI! Framework has been published in English, see: https://www.ne-mo.org/about-us/resources/moi-self-evaluation-tool.html . Work on the Icelandic translation will begin soon.
2. Matters for decision
- The final report of the Flagship Grants was approved.
- Monitoring visit reports were approved from three collections and one monitoring evaluation report.
3. Other matters
- The next meeting times were discussed.
- Gimli's Christmas party was reported.
- The discussion concerned the submission of application materials to the evaluation committee and meeting times.
