1. Presentation case

- An overview of the council's activities since the last meeting. This includes a report on the transfer of the museum council to the Ministry of Culture and Commerce and what changes are expected.
- Main allocation 2022. The Minister of Culture has allocated 135,390,000 krónur from the 2022 main allocation of the Museum Fund. 94 one-year grants were awarded, totaling 118,590,000 kr. to 45 grantees. 4 Excellence Scholarships to accredited museums, as follows: for the year 2022, kr. 16,800,000; for the year 2023, kr. 18,800,000; and for the year 2024, kr. 11,300,000. The total amount for the entire grant period is kr. 46,900,000. Allocations for 2023 and 2024 are subject to the funding of the museum fund.
- In the 2023-2027 financial plan, one of the goals is „Climate and Natural Hazards. Prepare responses to the threat posed by collections across the country due to climate or natural hazards and other disasters,“ and it is stated that the Collections Council will be involved in this project:
- Summary from the Council's workshop on the Strategic Plan Action Plan. Attached is the summary from the Council's workshop. The next steps were discussed, and it was decided to propose a working group for the next Council meeting.
- The project manager of the MOI! partnership presented the final months of the project.
