1. Presentation case
- Overview of the council's activities since the last meeting
- The application from the Einar Jónsson Art Museum has been approved by the Minister of Education and Culture. The museum will be notified of the approval as soon as the relevant documentation has been received by the office of the museum council. This means that the museum's applications for the 2021 Supplemental Allocation are valid.
- The Garðskagi Folk Museum has been partially operated by a private limited company for several years, and the museum board has been in communication with the municipalities that own the museum during this time regarding the matter, as the form of operation did not fully comply with the museum act. The museum has not applied for a museum grant since 2016. Now, the municipality of Suðurnesjabær has taken over operations again and hired two qualified employees for the museum. The museum sent documentation to the Museum Council regarding this, including confirmation from the municipality, information about changes in the museum's operations, and confirmation of membership from Sarpi. The museum intends to apply for grants in the 2022 Main Allocation.
2. Matters for Decision
- Supervision – 3 updated appraisal reports approved.
- Before item 2.2, item 3, Other Matters, was addressed.

In preparing the proposal, the regulations for the distribution of the Museum Fund from June 1, 2016, and the Museum Act No. 141/2011 were followed, as required by the announcement.
