Allocation meeting of the Council for Museums regarding applications to the Museum Fund 2016

Present: Ólafur Kvaran, Chair, Anna Sigríður Kristjánsdóttir, Sigríður Melrós Ólafsdóttir and
Thóra Björk Ólafsdóttir, Executive Director. Absent: Guðmundur Ingi Gunnlaugsson.
Matter for decision
- A proposal for the allocation of grants from the Museum Fund for 2016 was approved and will be sent to the Minister of Education and Culture for a final decision. In preparing the proposal, the regulations for the distribution of the museum fund from September 18, 2013, and the Museum Act No. 141/2011 were followed, as required by the announcement.
