New regulation enters into force on January 15th

New regulations on limiting gatherings due to the pandemic are in effect as of January 15 and applies to 2. February 2022.

The following restrictions apply in museums:

  • Museums may accommodate 50 people. in each compartment including children.
  • For every 10 m² in excess of 100 m², five customers can be added, up to a maximum of 200 people. Please note that this applies to the museum's traditional activities, not events organized by the museum or others.
  • A 2-meter distance rule is in effect.
  • Mask requirement is in museums where it is not possible to maintain a 2-meter distance rule. The mask requirement does not apply to children born in 2006 or later.
  • General crowd restrictions there are 10 people.

Museums also need to:

  • Ensure access to hand sanitizer for the public and employees at entrances and near surfaces that many people touch, such as touch screens and cash registers.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched by many people as often as possible.
  • Remind the public and employees about personal protective equipment with signage and signs.
