New quarantine rules – valid from August 28th

Starting August 28th, museums will be allowed to accommodate the maximum number of visitors allowed under the gathering restrictions, which are currently 200 people per space. The 1-meter distance rule must be observed and, if this cannot be ensured, masks must be worn.
The restrictions are in effect until September 17th.

  • Museums are permitted to accommodate a maximum number of people, i.e. 200 people in each space.
  • The number of children is not limited to children born in 2016 and later.
  • The proximity restriction and mask requirement do not apply to children born in 2006 and later.
  • If it is not possible to ensure a 1-meter proximity restriction, face masks should be used.
  • At museum events, such as openings, it is permitted to offer refreshments on the condition that guests are registered, similar to restaurants, in accordance with the provisions of the regulation.
  • Access to hand sanitizer must be ensured at all entrances and as widely throughout the space as deemed necessary.
