Minutes of the 129th meeting reviewed and approved.

Matter for decision

1. Proposal for educational materials on applications to the fund approved. The Executive Director has been tasked with preparing a step-by-step educational plan. The first part of this will be an educational meeting in the fall of 2014 for potential applicants to the fund on the structure and content of applications, as well as introducing the possibilities of other funds that provide project grants for cultural affairs. The next parts will be a manual on applications and a website that offers interactive communication.

 2. Proposal to reject the application of the National Gallery of Iceland to the museum fund approved with reference to the 4th paragraph of Article 22 of the Museums Act No. 141/2011.

3. Proposal for allocation from the museum fund approved and will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Culture for a final decision. According to the announcement, the proposal was prepared in accordance with the museum fund allocation rules from 18.09.2013 and the Museums Act No. 141/2011.

Other issues:

Proposal that the next meeting be held on April 10th from 12-2 pm and that a representative of Sarp's management company be invited to the meeting to present Sarp's activities to the council members.
