It will be possible to apply for grants to the Museum Fund in 2013 on the Museum Fund website from March 1st.
The Museum Board allocates funds according to collection law No. 141/2011 and the Council's allocation rules from 24 June 2010. In order to apply for an operating grant from the Museum Fund, a museum must meet the conditions set out in Article 10 of the Museums Act, including that the museum must have a secured financial basis.
Museums that receive operating grants from the state budget will not receive operating grants from the museum fund in the same year, but can apply for project grants.
Contractual collaborative projects with museums/centers/exhibitions/other activities in the field of museum work will be taken into account when determining operating grants.
Emphasis will be placed on the allocation of project grants.
