Starting today, September 15, museums may accommodate the maximum number of visitors allowed under the gathering restrictions, which are currently 500 people per space. The 1-meter distance rule must be observed and, if this cannot be ensured, masks must be worn.
The restrictions are in effect until October 6th.
- Museums may accommodate the maximum permitted number of visitors, but not more than 500 per space, if space permits.
- The distance restriction will generally remain unchanged at 1 meter (except at seated events and school parties). If it is not possible to ensure a distance restriction of 1 meter, face masks must be worn.
- The mask requirement will remain largely unchanged, i.e. a mask is required indoors when it is not possible to maintain a distance of 1 meter.
- The number of children is not limited to children born in 2016 and later.
- The proximity restriction and mask requirement do not apply to children born in 2006 and later.
- At museum events, such as openings, it is permitted to offer refreshments on the condition that guests are registered, similar to restaurants, in accordance with the provisions of the regulation. If it is not possible to ensure a 1-meter proximity restriction, face masks must be worn.
- Access to hand sanitizer must be ensured at all entrances and as widely throughout the space as deemed necessary.
Rapid Test Events
- The maximum number of people at rapid testing events will be 1,500.
- Rapid testing events can be standing with a 1-meter rule (mask if 1 meter cannot be achieved)
- If they are sitting, they do not have to maintain 1 meter and do not have to wear a mask.
- It will continue to be mandatory to keep a register of guests, but not a seat register.
