2018 Collections Fund Application Timeline

The Board of Museums draws attention to the decision of the 163rd Board of Museums meeting, June 20, 2017:

Due to the 2018 Museum Fund allocation, the Museum Board has approved the following timeline for the 2018 Museum Fund application process, with the caveat that dates may shift by a few days:

  • Applications for the collection fund will open on October 15, 2017.
  • Deadline for applications November 15, 2017
  • The evaluation committee will receive applications for review on December 1, 2017.
  • First meeting of the evaluation committee no later than January 10, 2018
  • Museum Council Evaluation Committee Allocation Meeting January 25, 2018
  • The evaluation committee's proposal was sent to the minister by February 1, 2018.
