The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, after receiving the Museum Council's opinion, has allocated a total of 108.6 million ISK from the Museum Fund for 2015. Of this amount, almost 70 million ISK will go to individual projects and 39 million in operating grants to recognized museums throughout the country.
This time, a total of 130 projects received applications for grants. Grants are being awarded to 86 projects and range from ISK 250,000 to ISK 2 million. Here You can see a list of allocations from the fund this year.
