The Museum Council would like to remind you that the last date for submitting applications for recognition under the Museums Act, in order for the application to be processed before the application deadline for the Museum Fund for 2018 expires, is August 31, 2017. Applications received after that time will not be processed until after the allocation from the Museum Fund for 2018 has been completed.
Only accredited museums other than state-owned museums can apply for operating grants from the fund. All accredited museums can apply for grants for defined projects. Further information on accreditation of museums can be found here.
