The Museum Council is moving to new premises in Austurstræti.

For the past seven years, the Museum Council's office has been located at Lækjargata 3 in Gimli, a listed building built in 1905. The Museum Council staff bid farewell to the small castle in Lækjargata and thank you for the good times over the past years. The Museum Council is now based at Austurstræti 5 on the fourth floor. The Museum Council's office will remain there for the foreseeable future.
