Additional allocation from the museum fund 2021

In December 2021, the Minister of Culture, after receiving the opinion of the Museum Council, allocated ISK 17,390,000 from the additional allocation of the Museum Fund 2021. From the additional allocation of 2021, 58 grants were allocated to 32 recognized museums, 23 grants are for digital promotion of the museums and 35 grants are for continuing education projects and course delivery. The total allocation for the year 2021 from the Museum Fund is therefore ISK 220,630,000, the second highest allocation of the fund since its inception …
