The Museum Council wishes all museum members and citizens a Merry Christmas and thanks them for the year that is passing. The Museum Council office will be closed over Christmas and will reopen on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, after receiving the opinion of the Museum Council, has allocated continuing education grants to recognized museums from the additional allocation of the Museum Fund in 2018, a total of ISK 11,512,100.
