Museum Council's Award Ceremony On the occasion of the main award ceremony of the 2018 Museum Fund, which was announced last March, the Museum Council invites you to celebrate with the museum's members on Monday, April 23, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the National Gallery of Iceland. The Museum Council’s 2017 Annual Report has been published and is now available on the council’s website. The report was approved at the council’s 171st meeting on March 22. The report reviews the activities of the Museum Council in 2017 and the appendices provide an overview of the allocation from the museum fund that year. The appendices also provide a summary of the operations of recognized museums in 2016. …
