The museum magazine Kvistur is now published and is celebrating its 10th anniversary, with the first Kvistur magazine being published in 2014. The magazine is an important part of museum work in the country and strengthens the professional field of museums, while also giving people insight into the many facets of museum work.<\/p>\n
The topics are, as in previous years, diverse and include interesting articles that provide insight into the work of museum professionals, articles based on final projects by museology students, exhibition reviews, and stories about different projects by museum professionals. Special emphasis is also placed on museum response planning in the event of disasters or other emergencies.<\/p>\n
The editor of the magazine is Elfa Hl\u00edn Sigr\u00fanar P\u00e9tursd\u00f3ttir and the editorial board consists of Birna Mar\u00eda \u00c1sgeirsd\u00f3ttir, Sigurj\u00f3n Baldur Hafsteinsson, \u00de\u00f3ra Sigurbj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir and \u00deorger\u00f0ur \u00deorleifsd\u00f3ttir.
