For the past seven years, the Museum Council's office has been located at L\u00e6kjargata 3 in Gimli, a listed building built in 1905. The Museum Council staff bid farewell to the small castle in L\u00e6kjargata and thank you for the good times over the past years.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Museum Council is now based at Austurstr\u00e6ti 5 on the fourth floor. The Museum Council's office will remain there in good stead with other institutions, including: Reykjav\u00edk Arts Festival, the Icelandic Literature Centre, the Icelandic Performing Arts Centre, Art for All and the Visual Arts Centre.<\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming museum staff and other guests to our new premises.<\/p>\n
