See Facebook event<\/a><\/p>\n The symposium is being held following the publication of the Museum Council's status report on digital dissemination in recognized museums, "In step with the times? - Digital dissemination of museums for educational purposes" see:\u00a0https:\/\/safnarad.is\/stafraenskyrslaprentutgafa-2\/<\/a><\/p>\n 14:00<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Sentence and introduction The keynote speaker of the symposium is Merete Sanderhoff<\/a> but she is an exhibition director and head of digital media at SMK \u2013 Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen,<\/a>\u00a0where she works for open access and reuse of digital cultural heritage. She is a popular speaker and moderator at international conferences on digital cultural heritage. She has also worked on open access\/open accessibility in the GLAM* community, with Sharing is Caring<\/a> conferences she has shaped. Merete has published a considerable amount of research on digital use in museums, including the anthology Sharing is Caring: Openness and Sharing in the Cultural Heritage Sector<\/a>She is the chairman.
