{"id":1488,"date":"2013-02-26T11:09:32","date_gmt":"2013-02-26T11:09:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/safnarad.is\/?p=1488"},"modified":"2017-09-14T11:10:54","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T11:10:54","slug":"umsoknir-i-safnasjod-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/safnarad.is\/en\/frettir\/2013\/02\/umsoknir-i-safnasjod-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Applications for the 2013 Museum Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It will be possible to apply for grants to the Museum Fund in 2013 on the Museum Fund website from March 1st.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The application deadline is March 26, 2013.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Museum Board allocates funds according to <a href=\"http:\/\/wayback.vefsafn.is\/wayback\/20160902191034\/http:\/\/www.althingi.is\/lagas\/140a\/2011141.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">collection law<\/a>\u00a0No. 141\/2011 and <a href=\"http:\/\/wayback.vefsafn.is\/wayback\/20160902191034\/http:\/\/www.safnarad.is\/media\/leidbeiningar\/uthlutunarreglur-2010.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Council&#039;s allocation rules<\/a> from 24 June 2010. In order to apply for an operating grant from the Museum Fund, a museum must meet the conditions set out in Article 10 of the Museums Act, including that the museum must have a secured financial basis.<\/p>\n<p>Museums that receive operating grants from the state budget will not receive operating grants from the museum fund in the same year, but can apply for project grants.<\/p>\n<p>Contractual collaborative projects with museums\/centers\/exhibitions\/other activities in the field of museum work will be taken into account when determining operating grants.<\/p>\n<p>Emphasis will be placed on the allocation of project grants.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It will be possible to apply for grants from the Museum Fund in 2013 on the Museum Fund website from 1 March next year.
