Letters have been sent to applicants.<\/p>\n<p>The Museum Council&#039;s proposal was prepared in accordance with the Council&#039;s allocation rules from 18.09.2013, the Museum Act No. 141\/2011, and in the spirit of what was stated in the advertisement for grants from the Museum Fund.<\/p>\n<p>In total, the fund received applications from 57 parties.<br \/>\nThere were 33 applications for operating grants from recognized museums.<\/p>\n<p>Grants were applied for for 145 projects.<\/p>\n<p>The council considered 114 applications for project grants. 31 applications were rejected because the applicant or project did not meet the conditions in the fund&#039;s allocation rules.<br \/>\nA total of 83 projects from 42 parties will receive project funding.<br \/>\nThe total allocation from the museum fund this time is ISK 93,150,000.<br \/>\nOf which 33,000,000 ISK in operating grants and 60,150,000 ISK in project grants.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/wayback.vefsafn.is\/wayback\/20160902190728\/http:\/\/www.safnarad.is\/media\/eydublod\/listi-a-heimasidu-2014.pdf\">Here<\/a> You can see a list of allocations from the museum fund in 2014.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Education and Culture has now allocated funds from the Museum Fund following a proposal from the Museum Council.
