Upon completion of the project, the grantee presents the results and conclusions to the museum board in a written report within a year of the end of the project.<\/p>\n<p>It is permissible to demand reimbursement if a project that has received funding<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>has not been carried out in accordance with the application and the documents on which the grant was based,<\/li>\n<li>if the project has not been carried out in accordance with the terms of the fund<\/li>\n<li>the final report has not been submitted within one year of the scheduled end of the project,<\/li>\n<li>The Museum Council is authorized to reject the museum&#039;s applications for new grants until improvements have been made in the Museum Council&#039;s opinion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A report on the use of project grants must be submitted to the museum board within one year of the expected end of the project, using a template that can be found\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wayback.vefsafn.is\/wayback\/20160902190706\/http:\/\/www.safnarad.is\/media\/eydublod\/nyting-styrkja.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that according to Article 2 of the Museum Fund&#039;s allocation rules, grants from the Museum Fund are allocated for one year at a time. If a grant recipient does not use a grant in the same year in which it is allocated, the grant will be forfeited, unless a specific application is made for its postponement.\u00a0<u>An application for a deadline must be in writing and substantiated and must be submitted to the Museum Council office.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grants from the museum fund are generally awarded for one year at a time.
