Sigur\u00f0ard\u00f3ttir in the absence of Gu\u00f0brand Benediktsson, Anna Gu\u00f0n\u00fd \u00c1sgeirsd\u00f3ttir in the absence of Margr\u00e9t Hallgr\u00edmsd\u00f3ttir and \u00c1g\u00fasta Krist\u00f3fersd\u00f3ttir, Mrs. Halld\u00f3r Bj\u00f6rn Run\u00f3lfsson announced his absence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span> <span>Summary of activities since the last meeting:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li><span>Work was reviewed at the Museum Council&#039;s office this summer, which has primarily focused on allocation rules, allocation procedures, and policy development.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span> <span>A draft of the new Museum Council&#039;s allocation rules was reviewed. Proposals for changes were made and it was agreed that the final version would be approved by letter between meetings. The allocation rules will then be sent to the Minister of Education and Culture for confirmation and a request will be made for a regulation on Chapter VI of the Museums Act.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span> <span>Review memorandum on procedures for allocation from museum funds.
