{"id":4342,"date":"2025-01-16T17:33:13","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T17:33:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/safnarad.is\/?page_id=4342"},"modified":"2025-01-16T17:34:39","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T17:34:39","slug":"234-safnaradsfundur","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/safnarad.is\/en\/um-safnarad\/fundargerdir\/arid-2024\/234-safnaradsfundur\/","title":{"rendered":"234th Board of Trustees Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM<br \/>\nMeeting Location: Safnah\u00fasi\u00f0, Hverfisgata<\/p>\n<p>Present: Vilhj\u00e1lmur Bjarnason, Chair; Gunnhildur \u00c1sta Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir, Vice Chair; Helga L\u00e1ra \u00deorsteinsd\u00f3ttir; Inga L\u00e1ra Baldvinsd\u00f3ttir; and Hlynur Hallsson.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended on behalf of the principal museums: for the National Gallery of Iceland: Ingibj\u00f6rg J\u00f3hannsd\u00f3ttir; for the National Museum of Natural History of Iceland: Ragnhildur Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir; for the National Museum of Iceland: Harpa \u00de\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir.<\/p>\n<p>Staff of the Board of Trustees: \u00de\u00f3ra Bj\u00f6rk \u00d3lafsd\u00f3ttir, Executive Director, who writes the minutes, and Klara \u00de\u00f3rhallsd\u00f3ttir.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>1. Matter for presentation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Overview of the council's activities since the last meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Th\u00f3ra Bj\u00f6rk \u00d3lafsd\u00f3ttir and Klara \u00de\u00f3rhallsd\u00f3ttir reported on a conference they attended on June 11-12 in Stockholm, which was titled\u00a0<em>Cultural Heritage and Cultural Resilience \u2013 Nordic-Baltic Conference on Civil Preparedness<\/em>which could be translated as \u201dCultural Heritage and Cultural Resilience \u2013 A Nordic-Baltic Conference on Prevention.\u201c Meetings were also held with various museums and colleagues from the Nordic countries regarding work on response plans for accredited museums.<\/li>\n<li>Klara Thorhallsdottir withdrew an article she had written for the next issue of the museum journal Kvist on behalf of the museum board, regarding the status of a project on museum response plans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>2.
