{"id":2308,"date":"2019-11-01T16:46:36","date_gmt":"2019-11-01T16:46:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/safnarad.is\/?page_id=2308"},"modified":"2024-01-30T13:00:49","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T13:00:49","slug":"adaluthlutun-umsoknir-til-2-3-ara-ondvegisstyrkur","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/safnarad.is\/en\/safnasjodur\/adaluthlutun-umsoknir-til-2-3-ara-ondvegisstyrkur\/","title":{"rendered":"Main allocation of the endowment fund \u2013 2-3 year grants \u2013 \u00d6ndvegis-styrkur"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>About the \u00d6ndvegisstyrkur<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Fellowships are a category of grants awarded for 2-3 years, subject to the fund's funding.<\/strong> <strong>Only accredited museums can apply for a Leadership Grant from the museum fund.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A grant proposal is not automatically made to all applicants who meet the requirements of the Act on Recognized Museums, but the amounts and number of grants will depend on the fund&#039;s available funds and the number and quality of applications.<\/li>\n<li><em>Fellowship<\/em> is a grant for 2-3 years.<\/li>\n<li>You can apply for up to 10-15 million kr\u00f3na, distributed over the grant period.<\/li>\n<li>All accredited museums can apply <em>Excellence Scholarships<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Well-written and well-prepared applications are required.<\/li>\n<li>A contribution from the applicant is required.<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation is required of other funders and what their contribution consists of (financial contribution, in-kind contribution, and to which part of the project the contribution applies).<\/li>\n<li>The collection fund must be credited as a sponsor.<\/li>\n<li>Applications received after the application deadline will not be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Attachments to the application for <em>Fellowship<\/em><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A detailed and well-made budget.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed project schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of other sponsors.<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Evaluation of applications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications for \u00d6ndvegisstyrkir are evaluated in accordance with the rules for project grants, as set forth in the Museums Act No. 141\/2011 and the Regulations on the Museum Fund No. 551\/2016.<\/li>\n<li>The Collection Council reserves the right to bring in external evaluators for applications if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications that fall under the category <em>b. Registration<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Museums Act No. 141\/2011, the Museum Board is tasked with overseeing accredited museums that operate under the Museum Board's terms and conditions for the operation of accredited museums. One part of the oversight is\u00a0<em>Monitoring the registration of objects and access to collections and exhibitions<\/em>\u00a0and that monitoring will begin with the follow-up and evaluation of the grants received for registration from the 2020 Collections Fund.<\/p>\n<p>For registration applications to meet the requirements of the supervisory authority, the following items must be included in the application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information that the registrant has proficiency in registration.<br \/>\nExample: If a registration is made in Sarp, the person making the registration must have attended a workshop\/course on the system or have experience with it. It is essential to specify who will be responsible for the registration. The person making the registration must always log in to the registration system with their own account.<\/li>\n<li>Information on which collection items to catalog and how this will be done.<\/li>\n<li>Information about the registration status.<br \/>\nExample: Basic registration, final registration, or other. Also, specify whether the registration is a new object registration, a re-registration of objects, or a transfer between systems.<\/li>\n<li>Will photographs be taken and included with the registration?<\/li>\n<li>Will the registration be published on an external website or not?
