1.1. Summary of activities since the last meeting.
\n1.2. Repayment of a grant from the Icelandic Music Museum
\n1.3. The Director presented an overview of the current status of the Museum Council at this last meeting of the current Museum Council, and the Museum Council expressed its satisfaction with the current status.<\/p>\n
2. Matters for decision<\/strong><\/p>\n There were no cases to be decided.<\/p>\n 3. Other issues<\/strong><\/p>\n A call was received from a representative of the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the outcome of three issues, the accreditation of museums in 2016, the allocation of continuing education grants to accredited museums in 2016, and the appointment of a new Museum Council for 2017-2020. The Executive Director will report the results to the relevant parties when formal letters to this effect are received by the Museum Council.<\/p>\n The council discussed the planned relocation of the Museum Council's offices, which in January 2017 will move its offices to Gimli, L\u00e6kjargata 3, 101 Reykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n This 157th meeting of the council is also the last meeting of the current Museum Council, and on that occasion, the chairman of the Museum Council thanked the council and the executive director for their good work and cooperation over the past years.<\/p>\n Meeting adjourned at 17:00\/\u00deB\u00d3<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Monday, December 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM-5:00 PM Meeting in the Nordic House and a festive lunch at Aalto Bistro.
