\n1.4. Presentation of the National Museum of Iceland's guidelines on museum clearance plans. Discussion was held on Article 17 of the Museums Act 141\/2011 and Article 7(f) of the same act on the role of the museum council in providing the main museum with an opinion on matters concerning the disposal or disposal of museum objects.
\n1.5. In 2015, a draft proposal from the Museum Council's working group on responsible collections was sent to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The proposal was discussed again and it was agreed to send the proposal back to the ministry unchanged.<\/p>\n
2.1. Sigurlaugar Dagsd\u00f3ttir's report on the Museum Council's symposium on museums and tourism was approved. It will be published on the Museum Council's website.
\n2.2. The request of the Akureyri Art Museum for the Museum Council to confirm that the planned construction of the Akureyri Art Museum's premises meets the Museum Council's terms and conditions for premises for recognized museums approved.<\/p>\n
3.1. The number of visitors to museums was discussed and whether museums, museum boards and other stakeholders can contribute to better collection of this information.<\/p>\n
