\nThe Museum Board's procedures were distributed for review and trustees were asked to bring them to the next meeting along with comments.<\/p>\n
\nThe idea of a symposium in September 2002 was discussed to mark the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. It was agreed to explore the possibility of obtaining a grant from the Swedish Embassy to invite Keith Wikander here on that occasion. The symposium will, among other things, discuss new museum laws.
\nand the new working environment for museums in Iceland, museum policy in the field of national heritage preservation, issues of the UNESCO World Heritage List, cultural tourism and the role of national cultural institutions.<\/p>\n
\nDiscussion regarding an employee of the Museums Council. MH was tasked with investigating the status of the matter within the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n
\nA report by the Icelandic Toy Museum Association on the organization's activities was submitted for information.<\/p>\n
\nMargr\u00e9t announced the founding of Sarp 2.0 Management Company on June 21, 2002.<\/p>\n
